Operation Toofan 2.0

As part of 'Operation Toofan 2.0'—jointly implemented by the Kerala Police and the Local Self-Government Department to completely curb the spread and use of illicit drugs in the state—Vythiri Grama Panchayat and Vythiri Police jointly organized the Toofan 2.0 program in Vythiri Panchayat.
The event was inaugurated by Grama Panchayat President C. V. Rajan, with Vice President Valsala Sadanandan presiding over the function. Vythiri Sub-Inspector Premson officially announced the 'Toofan Warriors' and distributed badges to the people's representatives. Grama Panchayat President C. V. Rajan also performed the Toofan 2.0 flag hoisting.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Murali, Standing Committee Chairman Shaji Kunnath, members Sini Joji, Shiny Devassy, Ranjitha R., Jasna Anoop, R. Ramachandran, and INTUC District Vice President Jyothish Kumar delivered speeches. Development Standing Committee Chairman Dolly Jose welcomed the gathering, and Secretary Sobin Sebastian rendered the vote of thanks.
Ward-level Toofan Warriors members, school students, teachers, representatives of trade and commerce organizations, social volunteers, political party representatives, and Students Police Cadet (SPC) members attended the program.
